SUMMARY:Wednesday Evening Summer Solstice Hike
DESCRIPTION:This is our annual Triple Crown Solstice hike. Starting at Wallace Park we climb to Council Crest, over to Hoyt Arboretum, up to Pittock Mansion for a view and back to Wallace Park. It will take a little more than 3 hours. Mileage: 9 or so, Elevation: 1800\nPlease be sure you have the fitness to do this hike.\nAn easier hike is also offered.\nMeet on NW Raleigh between 25th and 26th (on the sidewalk bordering Wallace Park). We leave at 6 PM sharp. Arrive early to find parking and sign in. Come prepared for all kinds of weather and have a headlamp or light source.
