Lake Merwin Paddle

Come enjoy the water at the best lake in southwest Washington! Merwin is my favorite and August will mean nice temps for swimming. We will meet at Salmon creek park n ride at 8:30 to carpool or caravan to Merwin. Realise that carpooling may not be an option due to storing watercrafts in or on vehicle. Ok meet at Cresap bay day use area at Lake Merwin. Cresap day use area fills up fast therefore the early start time. If Cresap is full when we get there, we will park at the gravel parking lot just south of the bridge and use the stairway to get down to the water. We’ll hang out, paddle, and hang out some more. We’ll paddle from the day use area East to the creek inlet. Bring your own watercraft. Remember to bring your PFDs, sunscreen etc. It’s always fun to bring snacks to share as well. THERE IS NO CELL RECEPTION AT MERWIN. RSVP on Meetup or to 503-319-2989. No limit to attendees but please keep your RSVPs updated when your plans change.
