Nevada car camping the 14th-20th of February: Valley of Fire and Red Rock

We will leave home on the 12th of February and head for Valley of Fire just north of Las Vegas. I have reserved a group camp for up to 10 cars and 20 people. Cost: your share of the $25.00 per night and $25.00 per car per day. This is reserved for the 14th of February through the 16th of February. We will do day hiking and exploring in Valley of Fire then move to Red Rock BLM Campground the 17th through the night of the 20th and then head home on the 21st of February. I have ordered books to lead day hikes in both these areas. You will need to book your own campground site at Red Rocks. There is also a driving tour in Red Rocks we will sign up for as a group. Cost at Red Rock is 1/2 price per night if you have your senior card for those of us over 62. Cost for Glen and I was $45 for 4 nights. Glen and I have reserved site 9. Tour is free with Senior card but you have to register ahead of time. Come join us for sunshine and warmth during the day and possibly cold nights. We will be tent camping.
