Kids Stay Free Weekend at Tyee: Feb. 14th to the17th

Lets again have fun at the Kids Stay Free weekend and snow event.  Dorms are COED.  Food is Pot Luck.  Bring food for your family as normal and plan on setting it out as potluck.  We will have games and activities for the kids on Saturday.  Otherwise the Lodge is open for enjoyment.  Kids pay nothing.  Adults pay the regular night or day fee.

Kids and family will need warm clothes, gloves, hats, boots, sleeping bags.  Poles are nice as are snow shoes or cross country skiis.  i

For this weekend if you do not have kids you are welcome but be aware that the people with kids have priority.  This is their fun weekend.

PARKING:  Parking is at  1/4 mile up Timberline Road on the right.  You must have a Snow Pass to park.  Trail to lodge is on the other side of the road.  There is a rope and steps carved into the snow.  At the Y take a left.  Pokes work well if not overloaded.  Try to pack your belongings in a backpack for best results.  The walk is a little over a quarter of a mile in the snow to the lodge.  Snow shoes work well.  The lodge will be open starting at noon on Friday and close at noon on Monday.  Maximum 40.  Please sign up on TCO Meet up.
