Junction Lake in Indian Heaven children’s Backpack September 13th to the 15th

We will start at East Crater Trail head around 11:00 AM and hike to Junction Lake around 2.5 miles.  It is up hill.  We will be taking many skittle breaks.  It starts getting colder about this time so ensure gloves, hat and warm coats.  If you need gear please contact me.  Kids should be able to carry their clothes and lunch.  Bring rain gear.  I will try to bring in a tarp in case it rains.  We already have 7 signed up so we can take 5 more people.  Register early.  This is a beautiful area in the fall.  Friday we will hike in.  If you cannot make it till Saturday morning come in and look for our group.  We will be taking a day hike on Saturday.  Bring rope for food hanging as we do have bears in this area or Ursak.  Fires will be limited.  Bring stove for cooking, tent and sleeping bag.  My general rule is save one set of clothes to just sleep in.  If you have questions call Linda Conrad at 460-907-5096
