**Membership Hike with Priority for Tyee Open House Attendees**

Join us for an exhilarating adventure as we embark on a hike from Timberline Lodge to Zigzag Canyon!

**Trail Details:**
– **Trail Name:** Timberline Lodge to Zigzag Canyon
– **Trail Length:** Approximately 5 miles
– **Elevation Gain:** 885 feet
– **Estimated Hike Duration:** About 2.5 hours

**What to Bring:**
To ensure a safe and enjoyable hike, please bring the following:
– **Water:** Stay hydrated with plenty of water.

**Membership Details:**
– **Priority for Tyee Open House Attendees:** This hike is a membership hike with priority given to provisional and prospective members who attended the September 23rd Open House at Tyee.
– **TCO Members and Provisional Members:** Members and provisional members who have already submitted an application are free to join this hike.
– **Non-Members:** Non-members are welcome to join us too! Please bring a $2 fee per participant to help cover our group expenses.

**Important Notes:**
– **Waitlist and Confirmation:** Before joining this hike, please join the waitlist and wait for confirmation.
– **Fitness and Safety:** Please remember that everyone is responsible for their own fitness and safety during the hike. Be prepared for varying trail conditions and weather.
– **Meeting Point:** We will gather in front of Timberline Lodge at 10:30 AM or when the 10:30 AM Mt Hood Express bus arrives at the Lodge. Look for the group with hiking gear!
– **Volunteer Coordinator:** I, Olivia, am an unpaid volunteer coordinator for this hike.

**Post-Hike Relaxation:**
After our invigorating hike, Tyee Lodge will be open for optional day use. There is a $4 fee per member or provisional member participant to enjoy the lodge for the day. It’s the perfect way to unwind and reflect on our adventure while taking in the scenic surroundings.
