Ramona Falls Hike

This is a TCO hike open to members who are planning on partcipating in the Trillium Lake cleanup on Saturday morning, May 18, and might be interested in going for a hike the day before. My plan is to arrive at the Ramona Falls TH at 10 am on Friday, May 17 and hike the loop (7.1 miles, 1000″ elevation gain) at a moderate 2-2.5 mph pace. We’ll stop for a trail lunch at the Falls before returning to the car. I haven’t been into this area for many years, and am interested in seeing the Falls again! Afterwards, we can head up to the Lodge for the afternoon and put together a potluck dinner, or consider meeting at one of the pubs in Government Camp if that appeals to anyone. Since this hike will be for folks who are already planning to help out with the cleanup on Saturday morning, I am not suggesting any specific carpool arrangements for the hike itself. However, I do have space for one other person in my Tacoma and would be happy to pick up someone along the way for the hike if they need a ride, as long as they’re also planning to stay for the cleanup and subsequent post-cleanup festivities at the Lodge.
