Southern Maine: 140 miles. Moxie Pond South

July 6th to 23rd. We will head south from Moxie Pond with goal of reaching southern border of Maine. Date is not yet in Stone.
This is hard hiking. One of the hardest miles is in this section with the trail going over, under and through Boulders for one total mile. I have read that this mile can take 3 hours. We will attempt to average 10 to 13 miles per day.
To qualify you must do an overnight with host and be able to keep total pack weight with water and electronics less than 30 pounds for up to 5 days. Planning is in process. Cost is airfare to and from Maine. Shuttle approximately $300 each, cost of possibly 3 hostels at possibly $35 to $50 per night, food and lodging last night for flying home. Details to follow.
