Tyee is Open

Tyee is open for the winter.

Please study the calendar and contact the host for that event and check for available space. Due to COVID requirements space is limited. Day use is always welcome, but masks are required for indoor use.

Consider taking the Mt Hood Express bus from Sandy to GC and Timberline. $2 one way, runs every 2 hrs, last bus back 1030pm.

If snowshoeing, start at the rest area to avoid Hwy 26. Snowshoe 500ft through trees. At West Leg Rd turn left uphill. Just before chairlift turn right uphill in opening of trees for about 1/4 mile rejoining West Leg Rd. Turn right uphill, past Mazamas gate sign on right for another 1/4 mile.

Look Tyee sign on West Leg Rd on right, follow path into woods, under power line to lodge.

DO NOT enter Summit ski area when chairlifts are operation. Ski patrol will ask/tell you to leave.
