Deschutes River Backpack

Macks Canyon to mouth of Deschutes. 23 miles. Day 1 we will hike 6 miles; it’s a hard day of climbing in and out of culverts. Day 2 we will hike to 8 Mile Camp. Options Day 2 are petroglyphs at Harris Ranch and hike to top of the ridge at 1 Mile Camp. Day 3 we will hike out, should be to cars by noon.
