Backpack from Multnomah Falls to Nesika Lodge Fall Hike and Halloween Celebration!
This hike is for Trails Club members and their guests. Please RSVP to Olivia Bakke
Meet at Gateway and take public transportation to Multnomah Falls and then hike with overnight packs to Nesika for the Halloween Celebration. Costumes or costume elements are encoraged but not required. Here’s the plan

Arrive in Multnomah Falls at about 9 AM
Hike 2 hours Larch Mountain Trail to lodge 3.4-4ish miles and 2100 ft elevation gain. Stay overnight and participate in the celebration and socializing.

On 10/30/22 we will participate in clean-up on Sunday and leave by 11AM to hike back at the Mt Hood Express for the 1:20PM bus back to Portland. This means leaving around 11 AM with a pleasant walk and time for a snack break since the hike will bridge lunchtime.
I would love to catch the 11:50, but that’s probably too optimistic for a group, and the 1:20 seems like a better guess for timing after clean-up at Nesika.
